It's been a rough bunch of Fridays for the Nerd Blerp crew. Why? Because Rebecca Black and Ark Music Factory have dishonered the great day that is friday, with a wonderful (awful) song that will haunt us for years and decades to come.  I'm talking about Rebecca Black's Friday.  One of the most HATED videos on the web these days, this vid has over 1.4 million dislikes on You Tube.  However, Rebecca Black has built herself an awful career around this one terrible song. Thanks Internet! Just check out the video.

John J. was able to get his hands on the Dethklok Bass Anthology!  It's a lot of fun, and will allow any master-basser to learn how to thrash with the best of them.  This book has some great features, colorful dialogue, and actually displays the beautiful lyrics from Dethlkok. Any fan of Metalocalypse would greatly appreciate this wonderful little book, and I'm super excited to get my hands on it. Thanks John!

Nerd Blerp loves playing video games for charity. Why? Well it's a great cause, and it allows us to spend a few days glued to the television set, chomping away at game after game, after game.  Last fall we played Mega Man for charity, as part of our Mega Mania event, and we loved every second of it!  Our biggest problem for our 2011 marathon, is what games to play?  We're not sure, with the tastes and tendencies of our team, it's sometimes hard to come to a conclusion.  Our fans have been calling for everything from Castlevania to Chrono Trigger, and we want to give them what THEY want as well.  So check out our newest Weekly Blerp, as we argue over what to play!

What trip to PAX would be complete with out a small video tour, NONE!  Nerd Blerp was at PAX East 2011 last week and we had a great time. Sure the event wasn't as good as 2010, but that doesn't mean there still weren't tons of things to see and obsess over.  Check out our video from the show floor, and Mike gives us his afterthoughts.  

Graves and The Electric Sheep hit the Nerd Blerp couch to talk a little bit about horror movies in 2011. They're not impressed and we can't say that we blame them.  Check out the video here!

The new Weekly Blerp has hit us ladies and gentlemen! This all-star panel discusses the importance of the new casting decision in The Dark Knight Rises,the next film in Christopher Nolan's batman series.
