A month ago I took a look at some of the fitness games out in the industry and tried to remind everyone that new years resolutions are usually given up on by February. Now Ive got a tech review on a little piece of equipment that Ive geeked out over since I got it. In keeping with the fitness theme, today I give to you, the bodybuggSP which has made weight management feel like its been given a game genie enema. If youve caught an episode of NBCs The Biggest Loser then you might be familiar with this little piece of technology. The bodybuggSP is worn on the upper left forearm where it collects/crunches/and delivers your daily calorie burn with an algorithm(with over 90% accuracy). It does this through four fancy sciency variables.

Gaming just might help you keep that resolution . . .

by KiTap

The new year has come and gone, and since Januarys end, many a resolution has beenshattered, forgotten, broken, or just plain given up on. January is one of THE peak times of yearfor gym memberships tospike, and people put up what appears to be an unbreakable resolve to stick to their guns this year and to make a change for the better. . . Id found myself making similar promises only to look up from an empty bag of Doritos a month later and thinking about how much better they tasted then I last remembered.

Sexuality and Gaming

by KiTap

As technology continues to jump forward in leaps and bounds, the gaming community has been presented with a variety of cool new devices, doohickeys, gadgets, gizmos, and peripherals aplenty for whatever system one may currently own. As with any new creation, the world of pornography and sexual media is always trying to get in on the action in any way that it can. Quite frankly, its one of the few industries that has always taken a risk in trying new things before many others even dare ponder the thought. If you dont know what I mean, Id suggest taking a glance at the article found here (Dont worry folks there isnt anything NSFW).

You know the song . . . but do you know the moves?

by KiTap

In the spirit of the season I decided after not so much deliberation that I would do something that I'd only wanted sooooooo bad, but never knew how to accomplish. . . learn the dance moves to Michael Jackson's Thriller. Everyone knows that people stomp back and forth with their hands like claws, and there is also that cool little slidey-clappy move, but I've yet to come across anyone that could actually move like MJ. Thank you internets for your bountiful offerings and websites dedicated to this very feat!

First it was McDonald's and coffee . . .

by KiTap

Years ago, the world was rocked by the concept that a cup of coffee need to be marked with a warning explaining that the contents inside would be "hot". If you are unfamiliar with what I'm talking about, I'm referring to the court case that pitted burn victims of McDonald's coffee against the fast food giant in an attempt to have medical expenses taken care of. The short version is that McDonald's had to take care of the mess it made and now you'll notice that any type of hot beverage has explicit warnings around the lid stating that the contents inside are indeed hot.

However, we're now brought to a bigger question. Can playing a handheld game filled with puppies cause a dog to attack the child playing it?

Did you say Ninja Gaiden Tres!?

by KiTap

Team Ninja has done nothing but floor us when it comes to hack and slash action that has become synonymous with the Ninja Gaiden series. Going back to the first Xbox game with it's hidden "x"-box throwing star I've been seriously impressed with the graphical finesse that each of the subsequent titles continued to uphold. Comparing the difficulty and wonder of each increasingly gorgeous title to others released along the same time frame is near impossible.

Just when you thought a series was truly dead . . .

by KiTap

No no he's not going to be in the new EA MMA game that's coming out (but that would be pretty hilarious). At PAX in Seatle a series that was long thought dead and abandoned is making a comeback after a 13 year disappearing act. We're talking about Duke Nukem Forever, a title that like Diablo 3 continued to be pushed back...and back...and back again . . . starting in 1997 and then having some commotion stir up in 2009 when layoffs were announced. The game seemed to become one of lore, while some die hard fans clamored for the return of their beloved hero many of us gave up hope . . . until now.
