
There's always new news about Microsoft. Just yesterday it was announced that the same company who produces the Xbox will be purchasing Skype for a hefty sum. A company as large as Microsoft always has new developments and advancements, but what about gaming? Xbox has been relatively quiet as of late, and the most popular title of 2011 is Gears of War 3. Does the big M have a new system in the works? Or can we expect more of the same from the 360 for a few more years? In my opinion, the Xbox has already passed its prime and the future of gaming lies with advancement of technology at this point. As the weaker of the two systems (Wii doesn't count) the 360 can utilize this jump and release a new system a few years ahead of Sony. However, what do we at Nerd Blerp expect from Microsoft this year?
